UK-based Nigerian content creator and social media influencer Izzy Ogbeide has weighed in on the ongoing family dispute involving Peter Okoye of the former P-Square group, following the release of the singer's third tell-all video.
In a video shared online, Izzy praised Peter for choosing to tell his side of the story from the comfort of his home rather than seeking interviews or podcast appearances. According to her, the approach reflects his personality and character.
She described Peter as "a very honourable man," adding that his music has always portrayed him as someone who genuinely wants everyone around him to succeed and be happy.
Reacting to Peter's statement that "family don't steal from family," Izzy argued that blood ties do not automatically guarantee loyalty or good character.
"Siblings are overrated," she said. "Just because you came from the same womb doesn't mean you have the same character."
She went further to warn that betrayal by family members could have even more dangerous consequences.
"Anybody who can steal from you can kill you. Anybody that can take what belongs to you, hide it from you and deceive you can go to any length to protect that deception," she stated.
Izzy also credited Peter's wife for standing by him through the difficult period, suggesting that her support played a major role in helping him navigate the family crisis.
"I feel your wife saved you. I love men who listen to their wives. A good wife will help a man prosper and last long," she said.
She commended Peter for eventually speaking out, saying that allowing false narratives to spread unchecked only gives lies room to grow.
"You don't need a good memory to tell the truth. You just say things the way they happened. No matter how long lies fly, the truth will always prevail," she added.
The influencer concluded by describing Peter as a great and honourable person, saying she looks forward to hearing the next part of his story.
